Dr. Alžběta Solarczyk Krausová is Head of the Center for Innovations and Cyberlaw Research (CICeRo)  at the Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Head of Regulatory Unit of Central European Digital Media Observatory (CEDMO), Chair of the Czech Republic’s AI Observatory & Forum, a founder and Chair of the SOLAIR Conference (Society, Law, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics), an external lecturer at the Charles University in Prague, an executive editor of The Lawyer Quarterly, and a member of the Appeal Commission at the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic. She has acted as a member of the Expert Group on Liability and New Technologies at the European Commission, a member of OECD’s network of experts ONE AI, and a Czech expert in negotiating the UNESCO’s Draft Recommendation on Ethics of AI. In February 2022, she became a member of the GPAI Data Governance Working Group. Her research focuses on legal aspects of artificial intelligence, robotics, brain-computer interfaces, and merging technology with organic life. 

Since 2017, she has contributed to the formulation of future regulation of AI both on the international as well as the national level. She is the main author of Czech proposals for international regulation of AI submitted to UNCITRAL and UNIDROIT (2017), a co-author of the EU report Liability for Artificial Intelligence and other emerging digital technologies(2019), and a co-author of the non-paper of the Czech Republic Regulatory Framework for Artificial Intelligence in the European Union (2020). She is the main author of the Analysis of Legal and Ethical Aspects Related to Development of AI and Its Applications (2018) for the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic and a co-author of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Czech Republic (2019).

Avigdor Gal is The Benjamin and Florence Free Chaired Professor of data science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where he heads the Big Data Integration laboratory. He specializes in various aspects of data management and mining with about 150 publications in leading journals, books, and conference proceedings. In the current age of big data, his research is focused on developing novel models and algorithms for data integration. In the past he gave keynotes and tutorials in leading conferences in the areas of data and process management. Avigdor Gal is a recipient of the prestigious Yannai award for excellence in academic education, and multiple best paper and test-of-time awards.

Idan Schwartz is a postdoctoral researcher in the Deep Learning lab led by Prof. Lior Wolf and the Head of Research at Spot by NetApp. His research is focused on multimodal problems and cognition in deep learning such as attention models and model's perception. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technion, where he worked with Prof. Alexander G. Schwing and Prof. Tamir Hazan. Before, Idan worked as a researcher at eBay, where he applied computer vision and natural language processing solutions to the company's catalog. He also worked as a researcher at Microsoft's Search, Assistant, and Intelligence group. In 2020, he joined Spot (acquired by NetApp) to lead the research group.

Hofit Wasserman Rozen is a research fellow at Shamgar Center, TAU Faculty of Law and a lawyer whose practice concentrates on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence systems. Hofit is currently a PhD candidate at Tel-Aviv University (Law and Engineering faculties). Her research focuses on AI regulation and ethics, specifically on the legal and ML aspects of Explainability and the legal right for explanation of AI systems. Hofit is a licensed attorney in Israel, and her LLB and LLM (both with honors) are from Tel-Aviv university.
 

Uri Rivner has been fighting financial crime for 20 years, working closely with the world's largest banks on developing strategies against online fraud. Prior to founding Refine Intelligence, Uri was co-founder and Chief Cyber Officer at BioCatch, the global leader in behavioral biometrics for fraud detection. Earlier Uri served as Head of New Technologies at security giant RSA. Innovations Uri spearheaded, such as Risk-Based Authentication and the world's first eFraud Network, are now saving the industry billions of dollars in fraud each year.

Prof. Stern is an associate professor at Tel Aviv University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology, Psychology, and an additional degree in Mathematics from Tel- Aviv University, where she also went on to complete her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in probabilistic modeling of evolutionary processes. During her postdoctoral research at the Weizmann institute she pioneered some of the first genomics studies on CRISPR and phage co-evolution. She then continued to a second post-doc jointly at UCSF and UC Berkeley, probing the evolution of polioviruses. In her work she combines mathematical modeling, analysis of massive sequencing data, and experiments that reveal how RNA viruses evolve. Since 2014 she is at the Shmunis School of Biomedical and Cancer Research, where she has led several breakthrough studies on COVID-19 and other pathogenic viruses Prof. Stern has won numerous prizes and awards, including a UNESCO-L’Oreal prize for women in science, the Wolfe fellowship for distinguished students, and the Rothschild postdoctoral fellowship. Dr. Stern had been listed first as one of the top ten brightest graduate students in Israel, and recently as one of the 70 brilliant leading women in Israel.
 

Gilit Saporta is an experienced fraud-fighting leader with over 2 decades of experience in the field. During the course of her career she has led and trained fraud analysts at FraudSciences, PayPal, Forter, and Simplex. She is currently Director of Fraud Analytics for DoubleVerify, as well as a published co-author of "Practical Fraud Prevention" title for O'Reilly Publishing.
Gilit also serves on the steering committee of the annual CyberWeek FraudCon Conference and co-hosts Fraud Fighter IL community on Meetup.com. An advocate for collaboration between fraud fighters, she has contributed to many fraud, risk, and payments events and publications worldwide.

Yair Benita is the CTO of AION Labs, an innovation lab founded by Pfizer, Astrazeneca, Teva, Merck EMD, AWS and Israel Biotech Fund. The lab is committed to building 4-6 startups in the phamra AI field every year. Yair is a computational biologist who spent more than 20 years studying biology through large scale data to piece together mechanisms of human disease. He led computational teams in the drug discovery field at biotech and AI companies. Yair holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, from Universiteit Utrecht in The Netherlands and a B.Sc. in Pharmacology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Maoz is a Machine Learning group lead at Taboola, responsible for the machine learning and algorithmic aspects of “HP4U” - Taboola’s solution for personalizing publisher homepages, and “Taboola News” - Taboola’s news aggregation experience. Maoz holds an MSc in applied mathematics from Tel Aviv university and a BSc in mathematics and economics from Ben Gurion university.

Guy Elad is the VP of Data Science at Diagnostic Robotics, a leading provider of fully integrated population health management, triage, and navigation solutions developed to increase efficiencies, improve ROI, and create better health outcomes.
Mr. Elad is leading the DS department which develops ML-based products, creating efficient research and production pipelines. The DS department specializes in AI solutions that involve causal inference, NLP, explainability, and utilize multi-modal medical data.

Guy holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Kira Radinsky. His research focused on leveraging consumer personalities to improve natural-language text generation for e-commerce, reaching double-digit uplifts in sales conversions, and published in numerous top-tier AI conferences.

Ori is an AI researcher at Meta in the field of AI For Biology. formerly was an entrepreneur and the CTO of two companies: SlickLogin, a company acquired by Google, and Chatbase, a company incubated inside Google.

Idan Rafaeli is a PhD student in computer science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He completed his master and bachelor degrees at the Hebrew University as well. Since his master's degree, his main research topic is formal verification of deep neural networks. His master's thesis focused on the use of formal verification in order to fix neural networks from classification errors.
