Moran is a manager of machine learning at booking.com, researching and developing computer vision and NLP models for the tourism domain. 
Moran is a Ph.D. candidate in information systems engineering at Ben Gurion University, researching NLP aspects in temporal graphs. 
Previously worked as a Data Science Team Leader at Diagnostic Robotics, building ML solutions for the medical domain and NLP algorithms to extract clinical entities from medical visit summaries. 

Tzoof Avny Brosh is a Senior ML & NLP researcher at Microsoft. 
In the past 7 years, she has been adding NLP capabilities to Office365 products and working on challenges in the fields of summarization, LLMs, tasks extraction, and search. 
Tzoof completed her B.Sc. in Computer Science from Technion and her M.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering (Machine Learning Program) from Ben Gurion University (Cum Laude), Recommended Systems thesis advised by Prof. Bracha Shapira.

Netanel is a senior data scientist at IBM Security since 2019. His main focus is supervised and unsupervised learning in the areas of fraud and bot detection. In addition, Netanel is currently working on his Masters's degree in Information Systems and Software Engineering at Ben Gurion University where he solves novel Reinforcement Learning problems using Deep learning.

Anat Hershko joined Elbit Systems - EW & SIGINIT - Elisra in 2019 as an Algorithm Engineer in the field of communication signals. In Elbit, Anat works on AI-based algorithms for detecting and classifying communication signals. During her career, Anat gained extensive experience with wireless and optical systems and PHY layer full cycle modem design. Anat holds a BSC degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Marko Grobelnik is a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He co-leads AI Department at Jozef Stefan Institute, cofounded UNESCO International Research Center on AI (IRCAI), and is the CEO of Quintelligence. He is co-author of several books, co-founder of several start-ups, is/was involved into over 80 EU funded research projects. Among others, he was general chair of LREC-2016 and WWW/TheWebConf-2021 conferences. Marko is involved in different roles on international AI policy activities in OECD, UNESCO, Council of Europe, Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) and NATO. In 2016 Marko became Digital Champion of Slovenia at European Commission.
 

Jacob Shams is an M.Sc. student at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). His work addresses the security of AI models and systems, model extraction attacks, deep neural network (DNN) watermarking, and robustness of computer vision (CV) models. Jacob is an M.Sc. researcher at Cyber@Ben-Gurion University (CBG) and is working on multiple research projects in the area of AI security. Jacob holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from BGU.

Daniel Freedman is the Lead of Verily Research (Verily = Google Life Sciences).  He received the A.B. degree in physics from Princeton University in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering sciences from Harvard University, in 2000. From 2000 to 2009, he served as Professor of Computer Science at RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute).  Since 2009, he has worked in a number of corporate research positions, most prominently at Microsoft Research, Google Research, and Verily Research.  His current research focuses include computational molecular design, novel imaging modalities, physics and deep learning, and medical applications of computer vision.  He has received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award and the Fulbright Fellowship.

Dr. Danielle Jeddah is the Director of Clinical Development at Healthy.io which recently won a historic FDA approval for a smartphone camera as a medical device. In addition, Danielle serves as a Clinical Lead at 8200Bio - a non-profit aiming to establish Israel as a health-tech nation by building a flagship of 8200 alumni. Previously, Danielle worked at Clew Medical on building patient-level physiological predictive models, which have now been deployed in intensive care units and other care settings across Israel, Europe, and the US. 
Danielle holds an M.D. in Medicine from Tel Aviv University (Cum Laude) and has a demonstrated history in clinical research. She completed her thesis under the supervision of Prof. Eldad Katorza, Director of Gertner Institute for Epidemiology & Health Policy Research, during which she researched a novel model based on 3D MRI for measuring the fetal brain. Her research work has been published in top-tier journals such as the European Journal of Neuroradiology and has presented at high profile medical conferences. Danielle is a member of the Women2Women network founded by 8200 Alumni Association to promote and advance chosen women to key positions in the Israeli economy.
 

Amit Ashkenazi is a law and technology expert, supporting public and private organizations on legal, policy, and compliance aspects of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data protection, cloud use, and ICT procurement. Amit is an adjunct lecturer on cyber law and policy at the University of Tel Aviv, the University of Haifa, and Reichman University. Amit is a member of the ISO SC-42 WG1 expert group on AI. He recently advised the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology on artificial intelligence regulatory policy. Amit was the legal advisor of the Israeli National Cyber Directorate (INCD) at the Prime Minister's Office between 2014 and 2022. Before INCD, Amit was Head of the Legal Department in the Israeli Law Information and Technology Authority in the Ministry of Justice (ILITA), Israel’s Data Protection Authority. In both positions, Amit set up and led the legal departments and held responsibility for legal opinions, legislation, and international legal relations. Before ILITA Amit worked in the Legislation and Legal Counsel Department (Private Law) in the Israeli Ministry of Justice, on electronic commerce, e-government, and copyright.

Merav Mofaz is part of the fast-track Ph.D. program for excellent students at Tel Aviv University. 
She is conducting a study focused on continuous monitoring and early detection of health and well-being-related events using smartphones and smartwatches, under the supervision of Prof. Erez Shmueli.
The work she and her coworkers did to evaluate the safety of vaccines with wearables, was published in five journals including Lancet Respiratory Medicine, in Nature group journals, and in other leading journals. 
Great interest in the results led to this research being presented to decision-makers in the US CDC, which is entrusted with assessing the safety of the COVID-19 booster vaccine.
Merav is an excellence award-winning lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering.
In addition, she works as a data scientist in the Microsoft Education group where she develops advanced models for personalized learning and the diagnosis of at-risk students.

Eyal Ben-Dor is a full professor at Tel Aviv University (TAU). Currently, he is serving as the head of the remote sensing laboratory (RSL) within this department. He has more than 28 years of experience in remote sensing of the Earth, with particular emphasis on Hyperspectral Remote Sensing technology (HRS) for environmental monitoring. He developed many applications using AI and HSR technologies for civil engineering, medicine, veterinary, environmental science, water management, vegetation monitoring, atmosphere assessment, and soil monitoring. His studies focus on both quantitative and qualitative analyses of field and laboratory reflectance and emittance data across the VNIR-SWIR-LWIR spectral regions and on the processing of airborne and orbital hyper spectroscopy data for precise and unique surface and atmosphere characterization.  He has a strong background in spectroscopy using remote sensing means and is an author of more than 250 papers, book chapters, patents, and technical reports. He is the founder of the soil spectroscopy discipline that began 30 years ago and now implementing it in precision agriculture,  food and homeland securities, and Agritech. He is an advisor for the SHALOM ASI-ISA mission to space and is a member of the advisory board of the Sentitnal-10 mission on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA, CHAIM mission). In addition, he is a member of the science team of EMIT- NASA mission that is operated from the ISS since July 2022. 

Dr. Smadar Itskovich, Founder and CEO of the Israel Smart Mobility Living Lab Consortium. 

Dr. Itskovich has a professional background in science, technology, and public sector senior management in education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. She was the head of an Israeli delegation at MIT university in the REAP program. 

Dr. Itskovich established several award-winning programs in Education and created the Division for Industrial Development in Ashdod Municipality. In addition, she developed the Ashdod Smart Mobility Living Lab, which she later expanded into the Israel Smart Mobility Living Lab. 

In 2019, Dr. Itskovich founded the Israel Smart Mobility Living Lab Consortium (ISMLL), a non-profit NGO, which includes over 40 high-tech and private companies, along with governmental companies and cities. The ISMLL is recognized and supported by the Israeli Innovation Authority as a smart mobility consortium.
